This semi detached property had a warm and homely feel to it and the removal of an internal wall and installation of a shaker style kitchen and creation of an open plan kitchen diner was the right move at the time but it was still out of site and sound of the front lounge so when the couples first child came along we returned and constructed a rear extension for them meaning they could all be together in the heart of the home - the kitchen of course - with dining and soft seating all close to hand and easy access to the garden via the French doors where the child and dog

Keller Design Centre are becoming increasingly active in not only property alterations and modernisations but in full construction too. In our 12 years of trading we have built solid relationships with structural engineers and construction workers and we have completed some quality work; this is our most recent; the removal of a 20 year old conservatory and the construction of a flat roofed extension with opening skylights, expansive bifold doors and a generous living space.

Compact indeed. This featured kitchen measures just 3.2M long x 2.0M on the back wall and we could only go a maximum of 2.5M along the window wall yet we still fitted in the tall fridge and ovens, two corners have 360 degree revolving carousels, theres a dishwasher by the sink, albeit slimline but fine for 2 people and in the peninsular there is a freezer and washing machine plus that recessed heated towel radiator and last but not least an integrated bin system to the left of the hob. So you might think shoehorned in?

March 23rd 2020 national lockdown declared the day before we were due to commence the installation of 2 bathrooms and 2 ensuites with wetrooms and a cloakroom into a home and instead we finished up staring at all the products stacked up for 3 months...not to mention 95 square metres of porcelain tiles on standby...but eventually we got going, if the plumbers were in then the electricians stayed away, and once they were done the tilers came in, always keeping them apart and socially distanced....and the clients moved out for 4 weeks to take the pressure off....the end result w

Some might say Magnolia is a boring colour but we don't agree and as it happens its one of our biggest sellers. Its not so cold as white but its light enough that you can contrast darker worksurfaces and vibrant splashbacks with it and not risk darkening the room. In this new fitted kitchen the oak flooring, copper handle trims and pendant lights along with a colour matched glass splashback add warmth to the room.

Sometimes we are presented with a good sized room which at a glance you'd think will be an easy one to plan a kitchen in - then you see where people need to walk to get from one room to another via that kitchen and you realise you have to put your thinking cap on. This was one of those.....but hey we triumphed by designing this island with a concave seating area. And that was enhanced by using a  curved 1.5mm thick sheet of beautiful brushed steel as the backing panel to the units.

This property in Lytham St Annes benefitted from a good deal of daylight coming via a new extension with patio doors and Velux skylights so it was an easy decision not to have a conventional kitchen window but to fit what we call a letterbox window high up so freeing valuable wall space for wall units and an extractor. And as it happens giving a good deal of privacy too and removing the need for blinds.

The new fitted kitchen is synthetic gloss white in the modern handless style and the worksurfaces a polished 20mm thick quartzstone.
