This featured installation is one of three in the same Cul-De-Sac such is the power of referral and recommendation for which we are grateful thank you.
What you see now was previously 3 different rooms; the back door opened into a utility room which in turn had a door into a kitchen and then there was a wall and further door into a dining room and if that wasn't enough there was also a door into the hallway - what a faff! So we took that lot out and inserted a few steel beams AND bricked up a window previously to the right of the back door so we could use all that wall for wall units and hob and extractor. And the back wall of the utility room became the feature wall of tall units and we were able to leave the boiler where it was and incorporate it into a unit. And this is another design where you see no handles on the tall units- just touch to open and voila! Same for the fridge freezer too.
The kitchen itself is Keller white gloss with Corian worksurfaces and Karndean vinyl flooring under which we installed electric underfloor heating and thats why you don't see any radiators which in turn meant we could utilise all available wall space for kitchen units.
As an aside on this installation but something we would certainly now promote and do again was to have all the internal sides of the UPVC doors and window frames sprayed white in situ from the previously dark brown and we changed the brass door and window handles to steel as well to creat total coordination with the colour scheme throughout.
Lighting plays an important function in this room as its not westerly facing and can be dull when overcast.......so the lighting is built up in tiers, primary, secondary and mood lighting and each on dimmers too so its right for every occasion.
