You may be able to see in the second image how the original room had a slightly vaulted ceiling, then in the 3rd image you can see the CAD image we presented to the client as a proposal and the remaining images tell the story of how we opened up sections of the ceiling and roof and inserted 4 Velux windows to let the light flood in.
And in the 'before' image you will see all the appliances were free standing but in the completed kitchen not one is to be seen as they are all now integrated.
The small peninsula adds an extra piece of useful worksurface but really acts as a sort of boundary, drawing a line and saying this is my space - you stay that side but we can still chat and pass the time together whilst I'm working.
The splash of bold colour to created some contrast and warmth and was a nice finishing touch to this pleasant bright new kitchen.
