Originally this room had a WC down the far end and a small shower cubicle just inside the doorway. Our design involved swapping the two so the clients could benefit from a showering area nearly double the size of the cubicle with the WC more conveniently located closer to the bedroom.
Part of the room reconstruction involved replacing sections of flooring and studwork that had deteriorated over the years from water ingress and we also inserted soundproofing insulation to a partition wall.
Once again we specified top end Laufen sanitaryware and cabinets and the MIra Platinum digital controlled shower to alleviate the need for manual exposed thermostatic valves and again we installed electric underfloor heating, such a boon to a room with no natural ventilation as it ensures the whole room drys out thoroughly especially during the months the central heating is off. The radiator/towel warmer contains an electric immersion heater so that too can be used when the central heating is off.
And at the end we brought in our very experienced joiner specifically to hang a new internal door on top quality hinges with a perfect fit all round so no noise or light emits to the bedroom of a night time.
