And quite literally that is what these clients do (step up to a Keller Kitchen) because we extended a 4M long elevated floor by 2.5M to give a good sized platform 6.5M x 3.8M for a spacious kitchen and then we made a real feature of it by installing a steel and glass balcony as a room divider.
Worksurfaces are Corian Clam Shell seamlessly moulded to upstands with seamlessly bonded sinks & inset drainer grooves with of course a Quooker Hot Tap.
The doors hide a Neff washing machine, Neff dishwasher, 6' high Neff larder refigerator and a large Neff freezer too.
The woodgrain effect Amtico Flooring was laid across the room to create the illusion of greater width and a ceiling box was constructed over the island to reduce the ceiling height and to get effective lighting and extraction where it is needed most. The continuous LED perimeter lighting hidden behind plaster coving takes away shadows and is a very effective secondary 'mood' lighting.
The whole project was executed during the 3 weeks the clients were on holiday and their reaction to our work upon their return did not dissapoint us and they were pleased to add a flourish of colour to suit the decor by having us install vibrant orange glass splashbacks.
