Here is an impressive, large and bold open plan Keller kitchen installed with great skill and precision. To ensure the greatest of accuracy of levelness over such a large expanse everything was set using lazer beam technology giving us just one millimetre of deviancy over the entire installation.
The bank of tall units are finished in high gloss ice white lacquer and reflect back the light provided from the full height bi-fold doors giving the room the feeling of added depth - the same units house Liebherr 1800mm high seperate refrigerator and freezer; Miele ovens and an integrated wine chiller cabinet.
The 4.4metre long x 1200mm wide cente island is finished in a robust and sturdy oak wood veneer and topped and tailed with 50mm Corian and seamlessly joined 150mm thick Corian breakfast bar large enough for four and overhead, because the original ceiling in this Victorian home is 2700mm high we introduced dropped ceiling boxes to get effective lighting and specialist extraction to a height where they would be effective. The Westin extractor is remote controlled and capable of an airflow of 1100m3/hr....very important in open plan living.
This kitchen really does take your breath away thanks in no small part to the clients who have so tastefully personalised and dressed the room with individual pieces like the corner seating and tables. This truly is the heart of the home and the clients are so pleased they have very kindly offered to allow prospective new clients into their home to see the kitchen in real life.
